So windy and cold that we had to retreat to the second floor tented area of the Belmont. After our hands quit shaking from the cold, we got down to some serious happy-houring.
Attendees included yours truly, Luke, the off spring, Ryan, Sharon, J-Spot, Stuart and Steph and her possee. Steph's possee included at least one attorney experienced in DWI defense, not a bad guy to know. However, you know we do not condone drinking and driving at any time. Steph promised that her entourage later would include at least two women with outstanding characteristics. Had to leave before they showed. More's the pity.
Tiana missed due to a week long bout with flu, URI, allergies, etc. Best wishes for a quick recovery.
J-Spot left for an assignation with some dude that she was reluctant to call a date. When is a date not a date? Does going to dinner with someone that pays for your meal and expects to enjoy your company qualify? Quacks like a duck to me.
Much intellectually stimulating and sparkling conversation, much of which centered around "cock blocking". Not being all that familar with the concept, I had little to offer. Some enlightenment would be welcome.
In fact, the nuances of this term could be a discussion topic for next time.
