MOTM - February 28, 2008

OK, this just keeps getting better and better. Even missing some of the regulars like Lone Star Todd, Angel, Aaron, Ryan and Sharon (sinus infection; Uh-oh, possible HIPPA violation). We also missed Shunit and where have you gone, Stacy Z? We also hope the Kirbster doesn't make last week a one time thing. And we look forward to others coming back. Even with that hole in our assemblage, we made some real inroads into the forest of temperance.
J-Spot, Sonali and Beth lit up the evening. J-Spot is attempting to stop smoking. Give her some love and support in this if you can. It's important.
Beth's spousal unit Casey made his debut. Casey teaches legal research at UT and rides herd over the UT law library. He also knows The Uniform System of Citation by heart. (Do they even still use that? Maybe I am really disclosing how old I am.)
George got shamed (not my words) into making an appearance. We wish that would happen more often.
Luke and Stuart added much needed intellectual stimulation.
Steph and her posse (careful spelling this time) always make this a mini-Carnivale. Her entourage (safer word for creepy computer voice) included James, the wine merchant, who is becoming a regular. Thanks for that. It also included Marlo, the restaurateur, Mandy, the room mate and Abby the brunette (or is it the other way around?). They added much to the group and we hope they favor us again.
Also attending for the first time was Christa, one of our new best friends. Her connection with this group is multiple and we hope those continue to induce her to come.
I'm sure I missed someone but, as I have stated before, it's not because they were unimportant, it's because of my faulty memory process. It's actually the fourth or fifth thing to go, I can't remember which.
Next week, same time, same place. Although there is some support for having an occasional Monday event to take advantage of $1 margaritas. Your views on that are solicited.
Until next week. Peace. Out.
