MOTM - February 21, 2008

OK, you're doing better. Last night's lineup included Lone Star Todd, who drank something else, indicating that maybe he was tired of Lone Star. Maybe a new nickname is forthcoming. Stay tuned.
Angel, Stuart and Sharon helped make it a gala outing.
And debuting at the MOTM was the Kirbster. Quite an addition to the group.
All in all, very nice.
Stuart is engaged in some kind of Boot Camp fitness program. He alleges it increases his testosterone and makes him want to wrestle. Watch your back and warn others.
We missed some of the regulars due to illness or other commitments. That's not good. Come back soon. Also missing was 50% of the most outstanding group that we had on Valentine's Day. The absence of all these leaves a hole in our karma.
It has been pointed out to me that some of my prior posts were "whiny". They were. Let's move on.
The meeting was cut a little short to allow some of us to attend the Debate Party at the Hyatt. For a significant amount of cash, we got to park 1/2 a mile away, spend 45 minutes in a line to get in, stand cheek to jowl with a thousand of our closest friends (who, in retrospect, are not all that pretty) and succumb to fatigue and leave before either of the candidates showed up. Money really well spent.
As far as the winners of the costume contests, it was a tie. Lone Star Todd was dressed as John McCain and Stuart looked a lot like Ron Paul. Wait, no. They didn't really look like them, they just thought like them. Close enough for this group. The prize is the cover charge for next week's MOTM. Congratulations to all the contestants.
Weather is getting better. We'll try this again next week.
Until then. Peace. Out.
