Very nice turnout for such a late notice. In addition to some of the regulars, it was nice to see some of our friends from CSC and we welcomed back a prominent immigration attorney who has returned to our fair city from San Antonio. Thanks to all that came by.
Although I have (on more than one occasion) tried to shuck the task of arranging MOTMs, it was requested last night that this blog remain in place and that these gatherings continue to occur.
Since it is generally hotter than a fresh f***ed fox in a forest fire (we used to say that on the farm), it has been discussed that every other week is sufficiently often to have these things, at least until the average temperature drops below 100.
So, the next MOTM will be August 21, then on September 4th and 18th, etc. You get the idea. The Pathetic Old Man will try to update this blog on a semi-regular basis to keep everybody in the loop. So, put this on your RSS feeder.
There also continues to be discussion about having MOTM at various venues. The downstairs pub at SIX and McCormicks and Schmicks were mentioned. If you have preferences about these, put them in the comments. Without such comments, I will be left to my own devices and you might not be pleased with the results.
Also, the contents of the posts to this blog were discussed and multiple requests were made to have the following as part of most posts:
- attractive, semi-clothed humans with something for the two most commonly occurring sexual orientations;
- freaky s**t, like tree man or the two faced cat;
- weird and/or unusual news.
We will endeavor to please.
