The first MOTM of 2008 made up for its lack of quantity with an abundance of quality. Some of you may think I'm silly for promoting these events, but last night for almost all of the night it was one male (me) surrounded by a number of beautiful women. Who's silly now, I ask?
The soiree was guaranteed success from the start by the presence of charter members and most regular attendees, Sharon and J-Spot. J-Spot had a good story about a fat, almost naked old guy on New Year's Eve. She should post the picture in the comments so all can "enjoy". I'm not sure how rambunctious the party was but she managed to lose her Victoria Secret coat. Rock on.
Beth is back in town fresh from Nebraska and from a recent wedding (her own) and it was a pleasure to see her again. Carole was a welcome returnee to our midst. Amanda (Bucky Buckeye) impressed us with her football knowledge and is considering going to New Orleans just to tail gate outside the Superdome while her team experiences some SEC home cooking inside.
Stuart showed up late but had a good story about his credit/debit card wars. Thanks to all of you for coming out on a cold evening. We'll continue to do this until we get it right or quit.

Topic for discussion: Should the BCS championship be organized and run by the same people that organize and run the Iowa presidential caucuses? Or would that merely diminish the luster of each? (Smell that? It's sarcasm.)
