Wishing Everybody a Great Thanksgiving or Whatever Holiday You Celebrate.

Here's wishing everybody a wonderful 4 day weekend. Rest up, there's only a few weeks to the next holiday.
I wish I had something humorous to mark this holiday with, but this will have to do.

Peace. Out.

Why Is It That We Drive On A Parkway, Park On A Driveway and Go To the Fair To Be Cheated?

The title has nothing to do with this post, I just like writing it.

As you might have suspected, there is no MOTM today, this being the alternate Thursday and all. Oh and there might be a problem next Thursday, there being a local holiday or something. So, the next MOTM will be attempted on Thursday, December 4. Spend the next two weeks getting your mind right for it. You wouldn't want to be caught unprepared.

Random thoughts: The one year anniversary of this blog will occur November 30. Only ten shopping days left. Candlesticks always make a nice gift (off hand Bull Durham reference).

Some news stories are just too good to avoid. Read this one and then see what springs to mind: Prego? Thick and Meaty? And what about the poor Jack Russell? And he wouldn't even stop while they were pepper spraying and hitting him. That must be some good sauce!

Then there are headlines that grab your attention:

1. This one obviously escaped the editor. Question: What would you use to measure?

2. I'm thinking that if is this is a wide spread medical problem that there should be some kind of warning notice printed on those little scutters.

3. And then there were these:

And just for something for your weekend, I leave you with aerobic exercise videos:

Peace. Out.

MOTM This Thursday - November 13, 2008 - Annie's West

OK, it's the alternate Thursday again and it's time for the legions of avid followers of the MOTM life style to gather and represent (do people still say that?).
There is no special Honorary Host this week. No one volunteered. However, you know you are all special in the diminutive length bus kind of way.
Let's congregate at Annie's West, a new bar on West Sixth, just west of Opal Devine's and next to the Ranch, J. Black's, etc. at a little after 5 pm and see what happens.
Topic of conversation: Who had a better week, Barack Obama or Mike Leach? Only in Texas would that be a legitimate question.
For no discernible reason, I leave you with the following photographic representations:
Would this be prohibited by Prop 8?

D-Cups, of course!

Good fashion sense:

Nothing really to say about this:

Anybody know the history of this?

Peace. Out.
