OK, I failed to realize that the roof top bar at SIX faces west and is unsheltered. This makes it hot as the hinges of hell at 5:30 in the afternoon. So, we retreated inside, which is nice and would make a nice setting in the colder days. In looking for the next place, cast your vote below.
The name of the venue turned out to be two more than the number of the people that showed up. We may want to give SIX another chance sometime. That's why I will include it in the poll again for this week's location. Look for that tomorrow and get your vote in early (or not). I welcome suggestions for inclusions in the poll. Otherwise you just get what I want to put in there. Show some gumption, you all.

OK, who showed up last night? My schedule got totally jacked up and I didn't free up until after 8. If anybody participated, please indicate as much in the comments and also give your opinion of SIX as a venue for MOTM.

Fine turn out last night, both in quality and quantity. The Key Bar was fine, however, some cons were that it was somewhat crowded (we shared a long table with a bunch of other people), the fans and misters (water sprayers, not dudes) were a bit much and the design of the low chairs was a bit funky.
Not a problem, however, since we are moving on in our progressive quest for the ultimate happy hour bar. I will repeat the method of polling in another post and you have until noon on Thursday to vote. So vote early and often (hint: you can not vote twice from the same computer, unless you are advanced enough to change the IP address). On Thursday afternoon we will announce the winner and then we will all descend in droves to the selected place with the process to be repeated each week until we completely tire of it.
I am going to omit trying to name everybody that attends because I always leave someone out (e.g. Amanda).
Notable events being celebrated last night were G-Low and Sean passing the bar. Way to go, guys. Also, Clovis snagged a new gig and will start Monday in a Georgetown law firm. He will start rending asunder domestic relationships and thwarting the criminal justice system.
Also, congrats to Sidra for passing the NY bar. I do want to hear the tragic story regarding one of your fellow test takers not passing because of passing. I hope that's just an urban legend.
One of the topics of conversation last night was that some stupid, vindictive f*cks had "hacked" an epileptic support website and posted videos that might induce seizures in some people. I don't believe that there is some giant cosmic wheel of justice, but if there was, it would flat run over their ass. So, being a full service blog, the following is a video of one of the posted videos.
